Canadian Film Schools

Inspired by the success of Hollywood films, the film making rage and the millions earned from it, many film schools have sprung up in North America including Canada. Many Canadian film schools have come up to cater to the ever increasing number of students who are quite eager to make it big in film career.

Ontario Film Schools

Algonquin College imparts training through 2-year diploma programs for Broadcast Television, Interactive Multimedia Developer and an advanced 3 year diploma program. The 2 year program for Broadcast Television imparts formal training on television and television production, also covering the technical aspects in the daily operations. Students have to procure a minimum grade if they have to be promoted to the higher levels.

The IMD program concentrates on the development of hands-on experience, covered in courses like project management, digital imaging, authoring, animation and development.
